What’s so funny about being pro-life?

Back in the day, Todd Friel and I were colleagues in local Twin Cities radio. Todd was the same then as he is now, but pro-life truth was just dawning in my heart when he invited me to come to his home church and share my testimony of healing in Christ after abortion. His great gift was to make that visit welcoming.
That was a bold move and I will always be grateful to Todd and the few others who took me at my word when I shared how deep the problem goes in our churches. Many others remained skeptical or uninterested in 2003 and right up until today.
But Todd gets it.
Since then, his platform has grown through Wretched, national radio and TV broadcasts and podcasts. And he was instrumental in producing the definitive training material on making the case for life, Life is Best. I was once again grateful to be invited by Todd to share the perspective of one wounded by abortion for that project. It is truly humbling to be lifted up into the company of Scott Klusendorf and other such strong advocates for the unborn.
When he invited me to guest on Wretched last year, Todd showed his great talent for honoring God’s law while offering God’s grace–with many laughs along the way.
